Determining when you need your wedding transportation all depends on how your big day is structured. Some people opt to drive themselves to their getting-ready spot and only arrange wedding transportation for their big arrival or exit at the reception. There is no right or wrong answer- some couples drive themselves the whole day! Just make sure you have the proper transportation to get to the getting ready location, to the ceremony, to the reception, and to wherever you’re spending the night. You won’t want to have to rely on public transit or taxis on your big day.
Consider Space
A big factor in determining which wedding transportation is right for your big day is who will be riding in the vehicle. Some people only hire wedding transportation for the bride and groom. Other’s arrange it for the wedding party and close family as well. And if your wedding location is far away you may even want to consider hiring transportation to bring all guests! Most weddings have a theme in mind when planning. It helps keep all of the elements and decisions cohesive. Your wedding transportation should also stay within the theme. If you’re planning a traditional, elegant wedding stick with classic transport options. If you’re going for a bohemian outdoor wedding look into more rustic options. Just make sure you don’t go too against everything else. Arriving in a horse-drawn carriage to a casual wedding would just look out of place.
